4-HThe Hardin Happy Hustler 4-H club held its February meeting at the Greene County Middle School on Feb 8. There was no old business. Cail Calder from “Bee Mindful” talked to us about his bee keeping business.

Members who plan to show livestock at the Greene County Fair need to make sure their FSQA certification is current or attend an upcoming training or test out. Contact the Extension office to let them know which session you plan to attend.

There is an Omaha Zoo trip planned for 5th and 6th grade 4-H members at the end of May. Contact the Extension office if interested in attending. Any members interested in participating in the Lamb Community Barn program should contact the Extension office.

A presentation was given by Sadie Reedy on “How to take care of a rabbit.” Following the meeting the group practiced basketball in the gym in advance of the 4-H basketball tournament.
